WHY WAIT? Teen Newsletter on Abstinence
Article by Julie Laipply

I thought this article was great! It is interesting to see that when you have your goals on your mind, you achieve more. - 10th Grade Public High School Teen

I thought Julie was so informational and really got me thinking about things. The talk only reassured my decision to be abstinence. I mean, whew! I definitely don't want a disease on top of all my other problems. I absolutely love, love, loved this talk! I recommend that all teens hear this info. 10th Grade Public High School Student, Naples, Fl.

I think Julie touched many people with her words and examples. The example that I'd use is when she took the stringy bouncy balls and let people throw them around creating the illusion of how different sexually transmitted diseases can multiply. For kids, using fun in your teaching really keeps them engaged and that is exactly what Julie Laipply did. I think her interaction really kept everyone's attention during the training. - CCAP TeenVolunteer

WHY WAIT? Teen Newsletter on Abstinence
Opinion about article on Taylor Moore, 15 year old, Public Teen Speaker
I believe that her saying what she said about having a single mother was a very amazing thing. I'd like to say "strength to her mother" for openly speaking about abstinence to her daughter. Taylor Moore seems like a brave girl and I only read about her. I think this article will influence many teens. - 9th Grade Public High School Student, Naples, Fl.

WHY WAIT? Teen Newsletter on Abstinence
I read the article that Julie Laipply wrote in
WHY WAIT? From reading this, I found out that she has done A LOT to get to be who she is now. She was not the most popular girl in school. She was goal driven, and has had to go against powerful forces that were trying to bring her down. She overcame these road blocks and is now extremely successful. It was extremely interesting talking to Julie! She seemed to be knowledgeable about what's going on in teenagers' lives. - 10th Grade Public High School Teen
